[Financial News] Naver Corporation announced on the 21st that it had conducted an 'Insight Trip' to support the global expansion of Naver Smart Store businesses through global business consulting, product marketability validation, and insight acquisition.
The Insight Trip, held in Shibuya, Tokyo from the 17th to the 18th, brought together 14 brand owners from categories such as food, pet, sports, and kids who have participated in the 'Round-up League' since July.
The core of this Insight Trip was to conduct local market research and directly engage with Japanese influencers, general consumers, and distribution experts to gain an in-depth understanding of Japan's distribution market and to establish concrete implementation strategies tailored to each brand and product.
The business owners expanded their perspectives by observing consumer behavior and commerce trends at major Tokyo commercial districts such as 'Lalaport' and 'Viva Home.'
The Insight Trip also featured lectures and Q&A sessions with experts from leading Japanese e-commerce platforms and distributors, including Qoo10, MXN JAPAN Inc., Amazon Japan, AEON MALL, and XEXYMIX Japan, where consulting on the Japanese market and key success stories were shared.
Lee Kyung-ryul, Corporate Agenda Leader at Naver Corporation, stated, “The 'Round-up League' serves as a boost-up stage for business owners aiming for global expansion beyond their current growth phase. Having already achieved significant success through Naver Smart Store, these businesses have high potential for global growth. This year, 13 brands from the Round-up League are set to enter overseas markets such as Japan, Southeast Asia, and the United States, and we will continue to provide support to help them establish themselves in the global market.”
