MOJ: No Signs of Mutilation on Body of Korean Student Who Died in Cambodia

[Financial News] The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) announced on the 20th that the autopsy of the Korean university student who died in the Kingdom of Cambodia showed no signs of mutilation. The autopsy was conducted at Tuk Thla Pagoda in Phnom Penh from approximately 10:35 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the same day.
The autopsy was attended by six Korean and six Cambodian officials. The Korean delegation included a prosecutor from the MOJ’s International Criminal Affairs Division, a section chief from the Scientific Investigation Operations Division of the Korean National Police Agency (KNPA), an investigator from the Gyeongbuk Provincial Police Agency, and three forensic pathologists from the National Forensic Service (NFS).
An MOJ official stated, "We plan to determine the cause of death after comprehensive analysis of histological and toxicological tests conducted in Korea, as well as the ongoing investigations in both countries."
