"Who Is This Year's Best Game Protagonist?"... Online Voting Begins for the Korea Game Awards

[Financial News] The Korea Association of Game Industry (K-GAMES) announced on the 20th that the nation’s most prestigious game awards, the 2025 Korea Game Awards, have unveiled this year’s nominees and opened online voting.
The Grand Prize nominees include: △Legend of YMIR (Wemade XR) △Mabinogi Mobile (devCAT) △VAMPIR (NetmarbleNeo) △Seven Knights Re:BIRTH (Netmarble Nexus) △The First Berserker: Khazan (Neople) △Who's at the Door? (Skonec Entertainment) △Lies of P: Overture (NEOWIZ) △RF Online Next (Netmarble N2), totaling eight games.
Nominees for the Popular Game Award are: △Seven Knights Re:BIRTH (Netmarble Nexus) △Shape of Dreams (Lizard Smoothie) △Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (Sandfall Interactive) △The First Berserker: Khazan (Neople) △Lies of P: Overture (NEOWIZ), among others.
For the newly established Popular Voice Actor Award, Lee Hyun (real name Lee Jae-hyun), who voiced the character 'Blade Phantom' in 'The First Berserker: Khazan,' has been selected as the sole nominee. For the Outstanding Developer Award, Eunseop Sim, CEO of Lizard Smoothie, has also been chosen as the only candidate.
Nominees for the Indie Game Award include: △Ratopia △God of a Ruined World △Shape of Dreams △SNOW BROS. 2 SPECIAL △Hug Me Animal Mansion △Pixel Mercenary Corps: Collection RPG.
The results of the public voting will account for 25% of the Grand Prize, 80% of the Popular Game Award, and 50% of the Popular Voice Actor Award. Anyone can cast their vote for their favorite game directly through the official Korea Game Awards website.
The final winners will be determined by combining the scores from the second round of Grand Prize judging, public voting, and media voting, which will take place on the 5th of next month. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 4 p.m. on the 12th of next month at Exhibition Hall 2 of BEXCO in Busan.
