[Financial News] KT Corporation (KT) announced on the 20th that it has opened the 'KT Innovation Hub, in collaboration with Microsoft' to drive artificial intelligence transformation (AX) in the domestic industry.
Located in the KT Gwanghwamun West Building and spanning approximately 595 square meters, the KT Innovation Hub is a flagship collaboration space with Microsoft where B2B clients can view AX-related exhibitions and receive tailored consulting.
The KT Innovation Hub is divided into four main areas, centered on the core values of collaboration and participation. The AX Gallery showcases the latest artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and their applications. The Conference Room and Develop Studio are dedicated spaces for AX consulting. The Recharge Zone offers a venue for creative exchange and relaxation.
In the AX Gallery, visitors can experience AX solution exhibits using voice commands and touch panels. A key exhibit is the Multi-agent system (MAS). Previously, users had to instruct different AIs with separate roles and manually compile their outputs to generate reports. With MAS, multiple AIs collaborate and coordinate to deliver results tailored to user requests.
Within the Conference Room and Develop Studio, AX specialists from KT and Microsoft propose business innovation roadmaps and provide technical advice and solution design. Notably, designed solutions can be prototyped within five days. For example, companies seeking to innovate their customer centers can have their current, human-centered consultation processes analyzed, after which an AI agent is quickly trained with essential knowledge for demonstration purposes.
The AXD Division, KT's dedicated AX consulting organization, plans to use the KT Innovation Hub to share practical AX experiences even with clients unfamiliar with AX. The KT AXD Division, in collaboration with Microsoft’s technical experts, aims to deliver the innovations experienced by clients as comprehensive, industry-tailored AX consulting and engineering services.
The Microsoft Innovation Hub supports the launch of the KT Innovation Hub. Drawing on years of customer engagement experience and proven programs, it conducts workshops and shares strategic sales capabilities and expertise. KT intends to develop the KT Innovation Hub into a leading base for AI research and industrial application in the Asia-Pacific region.
Jung Woo-jin, Head of Strategy and Business Consulting at KT, stated, "Based on our partnership with Microsoft, KT is achieving meaningful results in internal AX transformation." He added, "Going forward, we will expand collaboration among industry, government, and academia with Microsoft to help Korea emerge as a leading AI nation."
