LG Uplus Unveils AI Call App 'ixi-O 2.0' with Personalized Features

LG Uplus announced on the 20th that it has launched 'ixi-O 2.0,' an AI call app enhanced with personalized features. Going beyond simple recording or repetitive tasks, the app leverages AI that understands user context and provides tailored responses, significantly improving user convenience.
To offer both security and convenience to its customers, LG Uplus upgraded ixi-O with personalized AI features, resulting in 'ixi-O 2.0.' The new version introduces features such as AI Conversation Search, AI Smart Summary, and Discover 2.0.
The 'AI Conversation Search' feature allows users to ask the AI questions about previous calls, eliminating the need to search manually for forgotten details. For example, if a user asks, 'What did my friend say they wanted for their birthday last week?' in the AI Conversation Search window, the AI will find the answer based on call history. It also analyzes conversation styles and emotional tones to provide personalized insights that can help foster positive relationships.
'AI Smart Summary' automatically organizes call content according to the user's needs. It can summarize information in simple formats such as memos, discussions, inquiries, or to-do lists, as well as in templates optimized for business activities like real estate or sales. The summarized content can be easily edited, copied, or shared.
'Discover 2.0' is a guidance page that analyzes call and message data to recommend AI features tailored to the customer. On this page, users can quickly access AI-recommended information, such as summaries of call content based on usage patterns, schedule management through message analysis, and location searches mentioned during calls.
New features have also been added for Android smartphone users. The Android version of ixi-O 2.0 now includes 'Risky URL Detection,' which alerts users when they attempt to access phishing URLs found in received text messages or KakaoTalk messages. Additionally, the 'AI Message Reminder' feature automatically detects coupons or reservation schedules received via text and sends reminders as the relevant date approaches.
The iOS version of ixi-O 2.0 now supports a 'Dual Number' feature, allowing users to operate two phone numbers on a single device. LG Uplus plans to update the iOS version so that users can access features currently available on Android through further technological development. With the launch of ixi-O 2.0, LG Uplus aims to evolve ixi-O from an AI call app into a hyper-personalized AI agent.
