Gyeongbuk Cosmetics, a leader in K-beauty, is accelerating its expansion into the global market.
The Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Government announced on the 20th that it had set up a joint Gyeongbuk pavilion at the 32nd InterCHARM Moscow, held at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center from the 15th to the 18th, actively supporting local companies in pioneering new markets for their cosmetic products.
The seven participating companies—Mijin Cosmetics, Blessed, DU COSMETIC, Celdraw, Anylux, TOV, and Herb F&C—engaged in 109 consultations totaling $150,000, reflecting the strong popularity of Gyeongbuk Cosmetics at the event.
In particular, Mijin Cosmetics successfully signed a contract worth $51,000 with Russia’s Maskoholic for three types of earring-style lifting sheet masks.
During the exhibition, the provincial government operated a joint booth, providing export consultation interpretation and tailored local marketing support for participating companies.
The Gyeongbuk Provincial Government Primorsky Trade and Investment Office also participated directly, offering practical assistance to the companies and helping to expand overseas sales channels and exports.
With over 1,700 companies from 20 countries in attendance, Gyeongbuk Cosmetics companies showcased their latest technologies and innovative products to buyers from around the world.
Lee Jae-hoon, Director General for Economic and Trade Affairs, stated, “Participating in InterCHARM Moscow was a valuable opportunity for Gyeongbuk companies to strengthen their presence in the international market and promote the excellence of Gyeongbuk Cosmetics worldwide. We will continue to help our brands grow by developing products tailored to local markets and reflecting global trends.”
He added, “We will continue to provide unwavering support to enhance the international competitiveness of the Gyeongbuk cosmetics industry.”
The provincial government expects that participation in InterCHARM Moscow will serve as an important milestone in successfully pioneering overseas markets.
InterCHARM Moscow is the largest exhibition for the beauty, perfume, and cosmetics industries in Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia, providing participating companies with significant opportunities to increase brand recognition and expand sales networks in overseas markets.
