LG Household & Health Care’s Woollim Water from Ulleung Island to Showcase Distinctive Customer Value at APEC

LG Household & Health Care announced on the 19th that it will provide 96,000 bottles of 'HYO Woollim Water' for the 2025 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit to be held in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, at the end of this month.
Ulleung Saemmul, the joint venture between LG Household & Health Care and Ulleung County that produces Woollim Water, was officially selected as an APEC sponsor on the 15th.
LG Household & Health Care will supply Woollim Water throughout the APEC event venues, introducing the product to a global audience. In particular, a promotional booth will be set up at the K-Food Station across from the International Media Center (IMC) in Gyeongju, where the company plans to highlight the unique customer value of Woollim Water to dignitaries and media representatives from 21 participating countries.
Woollim Water, the first premium drinking spring water from the pristine island of Ulleungdo, is made from a special water source. Snow and rain that fall on Ulleungdo pass through the Seonginbong Virgin Forest, a designated natural monument, and are naturally purified for 31 years in volcanic bedrock before emerging as surface-exposed spring water. Until now, Woollim Water has been available primarily in premium spaces such as department store VIP lounges and five-star hotels.
A representative from LG Household & Health Care emphasized, “Providing Woollim Water, sourced from Ulleung County in North Gyeongsang Province, at APEC held in the same province, is an optimal opportunity to highlight the symbolic significance of the host location and promote differentiated customer value globally. We will present the unique flavor and essence of premium K-water to global VIPs attending the summit.”
