"AI Reduced Working Hours by Up to 73%"

[Financial News] A recent study found that applying AI to daily office tasks significantly reduced working hours and increased productivity.
WrtnAX released the ‘AX Report 2025’ on the 15th, summarizing the actual outcomes after introducing AI Agents into the workplace at Wrtn Technologies (hereafter ‘Wrtn’). By developing and utilizing AI Agents for routine office tasks, WrtnAX was able to validate its services and establish an AX culture. For example, when employees ask the internal AI Agent ‘Ruiteriver’ to register parking hours via the company messenger, the agent automatically designs the appropriate workflow and completes the task.
The report analyzed the impact of AI transformation in four areas where Wrtn currently deploys AI Agents: customer service (responding to inquiries, processing refunds, and handling reshipments automatically), finance (automating accounting, payroll, and other financial operations), frontend development (automating code writing), and backend development. The analysis focused on the effectiveness of these AI Agents in transforming business processes.
To objectively measure the impact of AI Agents, WrtnAX also developed its own metric called the ‘Wrtn AI Productivity Index.’ This allowed for a more precise assessment of productivity improvements driven by AI Agents.
According to the report, using the customer service agent reduced total working hours for related tasks at Wrtn by 73% and increased productivity by 35%. The customer service agent learns from FAQs and internal policies to provide automated responses in the correct format. It continuously improves by learning from internal customer data and, through Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), can autonomously address a wide range of customer inquiries. Beyond simple responses, it also connects with internal systems to automatically execute tasks such as refunds, reshipments, and reservations.
For the finance agent, automating processes from product receipt confirmation to invoice review, payment, and financial statement preparation led to a 21% increase in productivity and a 40% reduction in working hours. The frontend development agent (which automates UI code and API integration based on design interpretation) and the backend development agent (which designs backend APIs/DBs and generates code from natural language requirements) improved productivity by 15% and 28%, respectively, while reducing working hours by 28% and 55%.
