[Financial News] NEOWIZ announced on the 15th that its DLC, 'Lies of P: Overture,' has been nominated for the 'Best Game Expansion' category at the Golden Joystick Awards 2025 (GJA).
The GJA is a global video game awards ceremony held annually in the United Kingdom by the gaming webzine GamesRadar+. With a tradition dating back to 1983, winners in each category are ultimately selected through worldwide user voting. The 43rd edition, held this year, is accepting votes in 21 categories—including 'Best Storytelling,' 'Best Multiplayer Game,' and 'Best Visual Design'—until the 31st.
'Lies of P: Overture' has been nominated in the 'Best Game Expansion' category, standing alongside globally recognized titles such as 'Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants' and 'No Man's Sky: Voyagers.'
'Lies of P: Overture' is a prequel to the main game 'Lies of P.' Set in the past in Krat City, it delves into dark secrets centered around the legendary stalker 'Lea.' The DLC was released simultaneously worldwide in June and immediately topped the Steam charts, ranking No. 1 in both the overall domestic and global paid categories. It received a score of 85 on both Metacritic and OpenCritic, and achieved a 100% 'Critics Recommend' rating on OpenCritic, earning widespread acclaim from reviewers.
Thanks to the DLC's success, the combined global sales of 'Lies of P' and its DLC have surpassed three million units. A NEOWIZ representative stated, "Over 90% of total sales come from overseas, demonstrating our solid presence in the global market. As a result, there is growing attention on the possibility of winning this award."
