Oracle Corporation officially announced the launch of the Oracle AI Data Platform on the 14th (local time).
The Oracle AI Data Platform is a comprehensive solution designed to securely connect leading generative AI models with enterprise data, applications, and workflows. By integrating automated data ingestion, semantic enrichment, and vector indexing with generative AI tools, the platform streamlines the entire process from raw data to production-grade AI.
The Oracle AI Data Platform optimizes data for AI and combines OCI, Oracle Autonomous AI Database, and OCI Generative AI to enable the creation and deployment of agentic applications. Enterprise customers can gain reliable real-time insights, automate repetitive tasks, discover growth opportunities, and leverage AI agents to embed intelligence into daily workflows. Developers and data teams can rapidly build and scale these capabilities within a single enterprise-grade platform. The platform incorporates Nvidia accelerated computing infrastructure, allowing users to select the latest generation GPUs and libraries for high-performance workloads. According to the company, this results in faster innovation, increased productivity, and measurable business outcomes across various industries.
T.K. Anand, Executive Vice President at Oracle Corporation, stated, "The Oracle AI Data Platform helps customers optimize their data for AI and leverage AI to transform business processes end-to-end." He added, "This platform integrates data and simplifies the entire AI lifecycle, providing the most comprehensive foundation for enterprises to utilize AI capabilities with reliability, security, and agility."
The Oracle AI Data Platform provides a foundation for enterprises to effectively harness data and AI. Customers can build data lakehouses using open formats such as Delta Lake and Apache Iceberg, reducing data redundancy. The AI Data Platform Catalog offers a unified view and governance of all data and AI assets, supporting compliance and enhancing trust. The catalog broadly supports open standards such as A2A and MCP, enabling sophisticated multi-agent system configurations. Furthermore, the Agent Hub for enterprise customers eliminates the complexity of navigating multiple agents, interprets requests, invokes the appropriate agent, and presents recommended results for immediate action, according to the company.
