Gyeonggi Arts Center announced on the 14th that the 'It's Live Gyeonggi Climate Concert' will be held on the 18th at the Jaeminanbat area of Gwanggyo Lake Park.
In celebration of the 8th Gyeonggi Residents' Day, this concert aims to raise awareness about the importance of responding to the climate crisis and to encourage collective action for a sustainable future. Artists from a variety of genres will unite on stage for this purpose.
The lineup features singer-songwriter Hahn Dae-soo, girl group Baby DONT Cry, Kep1er, Say My Name, boy group Close Your Eyes, Onewe, musical actors Sooha Kim and Ock Joo-hyun, as well as Nell, Bobby Kim, Baekho, Chuu, and Kisum.
Additionally, the Gyeonggido Dance Company, dedicated to the preservation and development of Korean dance, will join to deliver messages about environmental protection and climate action.
Alongside the performances, a variety of events and hands-on activities are planned. There will be booths for a climate awareness coloring photo zone, a climate OX quiz, and face painting.
Visitors can participate in upcycling experiences such as making coasters from recycled materials and creating keyrings from discarded keyboards. There will also be an activity where soap bubbles are produced using electricity generated by pedaling a bicycle, promoting resource circulation.
To encourage environmental practices, attendees are advised to bring reusable containers. The event will operate exclusively with mobile tickets, eliminating the use of paper tickets.
Tickets can be reserved through the Gyeonggi Arts Center official website or via Moove Tickets, which is linked to the Gyeonggi-do Climate Action Basic Income mobile app. Entry is simple by presenting the generated QR code at the venue.
Admission to the concert is free. Advance reservations are available on the Gyeonggi Arts Center official website and the Gyeonggi-do Climate Action Basic Income mobile app.
Sanghoe Kim, President of Gyeonggi Arts Center, stated, "Music is one of the most powerful mediums to move people's hearts. Through this concert, I hope more residents will empathize with the goal of building a sustainable future together and join in small actions in their daily lives."
