[Financial News] Dt&C announced that its subsidiary, DT&C Vina, has become the first organization in Vietnam to be officially designated by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) as an accredited testing institution for Specific Absorption Rate (SAR).
According to Dt&C on the 13th, DT&C Vina has been officially designated by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam as a laboratory qualified to conduct tests in accordance with the QCVN 134:2024/BTTTT national technical regulation on SAR for handheld and body-worn wireless devices.
DT&C Vina has spent several months preparing for this designation, installing testing equipment, chambers, and completing documentation under its long-term vision and executive commitment. With the support of skilled engineers dispatched from the headquarters who trained local staff, the company successfully passed two rigorous assessments conducted by the Bureau of Accreditation (BoA) under MOST and the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ). As a result, it received official designation approval from the Vietnamese government.
Kang Mungyeong, head of DT&C Vina, stated, "Being designated as the first local laboratory in Vietnam authorized to conduct SAR testing under the relevant regulations marks a significant milestone in DT&C Vina’s journey of growth. This reaffirms DT&C Vina’s commitment to supporting the Vietnamese government’s efforts to improve product quality and safety and to contribute to consumer protection."
Meanwhile, DT&C Vina is the only government-designated testing laboratory in Vietnam offering total solution services with capabilities in Safety, EMC, RF, and 5G Auto-EMC testing. It is registered as a quality and pre-testing laboratory for approximately 400 domestic and international clients, both locally and abroad. Through these efforts, it serves as a bridgehead and growth partner for companies entering the Vietnamese market.
