Key Content of the 2025 Namdo International Culinary Expo, 'Namdo Signature Gourmet Road,' Receives Enthusiastic Response

South Jeolla Province announced that the '2025 Namdo International Culinary Expo,' which has been taking place from the 1st and will continue until the 26th, is gaining popularity with its diverse culinary programs.
In particular, the core attraction, 'Namdo Signature Gourmet Road,' is captivating visitors’ palates and receiving enthusiastic feedback. According to South Jeolla Province, the 'Namdo Signature Gourmet Road' is a program where local small business owners prepare dishes on-site using regional ingredients and serve them directly to visitors.
Notably, twenty-four teams selected through document screening and cooking demonstrations are operating eighteen booths. They prepare and sell a wide array of dishes featuring Namdo’s seasonal ingredients, such as Hongeo-hoe, small octopus, Blue-spotted mudskipper, blood cockle, Manila clam, large green onion, and fig, offering visitors a true taste of Namdo’s culinary excellence.
Visitors can enjoy Namdo cuisine at an affordable price of around 10,000 won, and food purchased at the booths can be enjoyed in the dining zone overlooking the sea. In addition, during the expo, the first 1,000 adult paying visitors each day receive a 2,000-won food discount coupon, which has been met with great enthusiasm from tourists.
Hong Yang-hyeon, Secretary General of the Namdo International Culinary Expo, stated, "The 'Namdo Signature Gourmet Road' is a place where visitors can vividly experience Namdo’s culinary culture, blending local flavors and ingredients.
We hope this will be a special opportunity for everyone to fully appreciate the charm of Namdo’s cuisine.
" Meanwhile, the '2025 Namdo International Culinary Expo' is the first government-approved international culinary-themed expo in Korea.
Under the theme 'Nature’s Table, Namdo: The Future of Sustainable Culinary Industry,' it is being held at the Mokpo Culture & Arts Center and its surrounding area.
