Kim Jeong-su, Vice Chairman of Samyang Foods Inc., Signs MOU with French Distributor to Expand European Market

[Financial News] Samyang Foods Inc. signed an MOU with a local French company at 'Anuga 2025,' the world's largest food fair held in Cologne, Germany, establishing a foothold for expansion into the European market.
According to Samyang Foods Inc. on the 9th, Vice Chairman Kim Jeong-su visited the Samyang Foods Inc. booth at Anuga in Germany on the 4th (local time) and signed an MOU with 'SRG International,' a major French distribution channel specialist, regarding local distribution in France.
During Anuga, Vice Chairman Kim also visited the Samyang Foods Europe Sales Corporation in the Netherlands to review the status of local business and market conditions. This was Samyang Foods Inc.'s first participation in Anuga, and the growing popularity of the Buldak brand in Europe was cited as a reason for Kim's on-site visit. Song Mi-ryeong, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, also attended the event.
To meet surging demand, Samyang Foods Inc. expanded its Miryang Plant and established the Samyang Foods Europe Sales Corporation last year to broaden its sales network. Currently, Buldak products are sold at supermarket chains such as Albert Heijn in the Netherlands, REWE in Germany, and Tesco in the UK.
A representative from Samyang Foods Inc. stated, "Up to 7,000 visitors per day came to the Samyang Foods Inc. booth at Anuga, held from the 4th to the 8th," adding, "The successful operation of our booth at Anuga 2025 will further strengthen Samyang Foods Inc.'s position in the European market."
