[Financial News] Hanwha Semitek announced on the 23rd that it will participate in the 'EMO Hannover 2025' exhibition held in Hannover, Germany from the 22nd to the 26th (local time), showcasing the latest machine tools, CNC automatic lathes, and integrated dental solution equipment.
The biennial EMO is one of the world's top three machine tool exhibitions, where companies related to the global metal processing industry gather in one place. Previously, EMO 2023 was attended by 1,800 companies from 45 countries, and approximately 92,000 visitors from about 140 countries attended.
Machine tools are collectively referred to as machines used to precisely process various materials to produce parts of desired shapes and dimensions. Hanwha Semitek develops and produces advanced automatic lathes capable of ultra-precision processing based on its long-standing know-how and proprietary technology.
In this year's exhibition, Hanwha Semitek will showcase the XD10II optimized for small parts processing and the third-generation models XD26III and XD38III with improved complex back processing capabilities. The XM20, a medical parts dedicated equipment developed based on ultra-precision processing technology, and the first dental milling machine H Denfit will be exhibited in a separate space, unveiling the 'Implant Full Lineup' capable of one-stop production of artificial roots and teeth.
Collaboration with Hanwha Robotics' collaborative robots will also be showcased. Hanwha Robotics plans to demonstrate manufacturing automation technology with Hanwha Semitek using the collaborative robot HCR-14, which can lift up to 14kg.
The collaborative robot HCR-14, connected to Hanwha Semitek's XD38III automatic lathe equipment via a network, performs the task of automatically moving processed parts. The HCR-14 is equipped with machine tending technology that can load materials into machine tools and remove finished parts.
By utilizing robots with machine tending technology, it is possible to maximize production during non-working hours by operating continuously for 24 hours. It can be deployed in high-temperature and high-pressure environments instead of humans to perform repetitive tasks, ensuring a safe working environment.
A Hanwha Semitek representative said, "Based on nearly 50 years of accumulated ultra-precision processing manufacturing know-how, we have proactively introduced automation solutions necessary for our clients," adding, "We will provide high productivity through process optimization and smart factory construction."
