KOSPI, Slightly Bullish at 2460... KOSDAQ Rises by 1% [fn Afternoon Market]

[Financial News] The KOSPI index is showing slight bullishness on the afternoon of the 22nd due to buying by foreign and institutional investors.
As of 2 PM today, the KOSPI index is trading at 2462.89, up 0.51% from the previous trading day. The KOSPI, which started at 3463.84, up 0.54% from the previous trading day, surged to a new all-time high of 3482.25 during the day but then retreated, fluctuating around the 2460 level.
In the stock market, foreigners and institutions are net buying 379.3 billion won and 405.6 billion won worth of stocks, respectively. On the other hand, individuals are selling 804.4 billion won worth of stocks.
Among the top market cap stocks, Samsung Electronics (4.52%), Hyundai Motor (1.64%), HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (0.51%), and Doosan Enerbility (2.96%) are rising. In contrast, SK Hynix (-1.06%), Hanwha Aerospace (-1.27%), and Celltrion (-1.05%) are declining.
By sector, electronics (1.94%), medical precision instruments (1.45%), manufacturing (0.97%), and securities (0.46%) are rising. On the other hand, metals (-1.44%), telecommunications (-1.37%), and transportation and warehousing (-1.05%) are falling.
At the same time, the KOSDAQ index is trading at 874.14, up 1.28% from the previous trading day. The KOSDAQ, which started at 869.06, has been steadily increasing its gains throughout the day.
In the KOSDAQ market, individuals are net buying 198.9 billion won worth of stocks, while foreigners and institutions are net selling 77 billion won and 32.2 billion won worth of stocks, respectively.
