KOSPI Touches 3480 During the Day... Breaks Another Record [fn Morning Market]

[Financial News] The KOSPI index rose to 3480 in early trading on the 22nd, setting a new all-time high.
As of 10:30 a.m., KOSPI is trading at 3469.33, up 0.74% from the previous trading day. Shortly after the market opened, KOSPI soared to 3481.96, setting a new record.
In the stock market, foreigners and institutions are buying 375.8 billion won and 245.6 billion won worth of stocks, respectively. On the other hand, individuals are net selling 593.4 billion won worth of stocks.
The U.S. stock market's record high is seen as having a positive impact on the domestic market. On the 19th, the New York Stock Exchange hit a record high in closing prices for all three major indices, buoyed by the U.S. Federal Reserve's (Fed) decision to cut interest rates.
Among the top market cap stocks, Samsung Electronics is showing strength, trading at 83,500 won, up 4.77% from the previous trading day. In addition, Hyundai Motor (1.64%), LG Energy Solution (0.86%), etc., are also on the rise. On the other hand, SK Hynix (-0.14%), Hanwha Aerospace (-1.27%), etc., are showing weakness.
By sector, electronics (2.62%), manufacturing (1.32%), and medical precision instruments (0.94%) are strong. On the other hand, metals (-1.29%), telecommunications (-1.25%), and textiles and clothing (-0.52%) are weak.
At the same time, the KOSDAQ index is trading at 871.68, up 0.99% from the previous trading day.
In the KOSDAQ market, individuals are net buying 208.8 billion won worth of stocks, while foreigners and institutions are net selling 99.7 billion won and 89.4 billion won worth of stocks, respectively.
