Police Investigate 'Lotte Card Hacking and Information Leak'

[Financial News] The police are investigating the Lotte Card hacking incident.
The National Investigation Headquarters Cyber Terror Investigation Unit of the National Police Agency announced on the 19th that they have been aware of the case and are investigating it since early this month when related media reports emerged.
The police will first determine how much and through which channels the card company's customer information was stolen, and then track down the hackers.
Lotte Card announced the previous day that 2.97 million customers' information was leaked due to an external hacking attack. Among them, 280,000 had their card numbers, passwords, expiration dates, card security codes (CVC), and resident registration numbers leaked.
