[Financial News] The KOSPI index is showing a slight decline on the 19th due to selling by foreign and institutional investors.
This morning at 11:05, the KOSPI is trading at 3444.43, down 0.49% from the previous session. The KOSPI started higher and rose to 3467.89, but turned downward shortly after the opening, increasing its decline.
In the stock market, foreigners and institutions are net selling 363.3 billion won and 124.7 billion won, respectively. On the other hand, individuals are net buying 481.2 billion won.
Among the top market cap stocks, Samsung Electronics (-0.12%), LG Energy Solution (-1.27%), KB Financial (-0.77%), and Hyundai Motor (-1.27%) are weak. In contrast, SK Hynix and Hanwha Aerospace are rising by 0.42% and 1.37%, respectively.
By sector, construction (-2.29%), transportation and storage (-2.31%), electricity and gas (-1.54%), and chemicals (-1.39%) are weak. In contrast, medical precision instruments (1.13%) and pharmaceuticals (0.17%) are rising.
At this time, the KOSDAQ index is trading at 858.92, up 0.21% from the previous session.
In the KOSDAQ market, individuals are net buying 61.3 billion won. On the other hand, foreigners and institutions are net selling 7 billion won and 5.8 billion won, respectively.
