KOSPI Turns Down After 12 Trading Days... Awaiting FOMC [fn Morning Market]

[Financial News] The KOSPI index turned down after showing weakness in the early session on the 17th, reversing after 12 trading days.
This morning at 11 o'clock, the KOSPI index is trading at 3408.73, down 1.19% from the previous session. The KOSPI opened at 3433.83, down 0.46% from the previous trading day.
In the stock market, foreigners and institutions are net selling 301.7 billion won and 72.7 billion won worth of stocks, respectively. On the other hand, individuals are net buying 358.9 billion won worth of stocks.
As the September FOMC approaches, caution is spreading. It is evaluated that profit-taking is also occurring as the KOSPI has risen significantly. As of the previous day, the KOSPI continued to renew its all-time high with 11 consecutive trading days of gains.
The top market cap stocks are generally on a downward trend. In particular, Samsung Electronics (-2.02%), SK Hynix (-3.45%), Hanwha Aerospace (-1.15%), and Doosan Enerbility (-3.00%) are falling sharply. On the other hand, LG Energy Solution and KB Financial are rising by 1.29% and 0.25%, respectively.
By sector, securities (-2.90%), construction (-2.61%), and electronics (-1.76%) are falling. On the other hand, entertainment and culture (1.70%), telecommunications (0.46%), and chemicals (0.23%) are rising.
At this time, the KOSDAQ index is trading at 846.49, down 0.64% from the previous session.
In the KOSDAQ market, foreigners are selling 134.6 billion won worth of stocks, and institutions are selling 79.6 billion won worth of stocks. On the other hand, individuals are net buying 233 billion won worth of stocks.
