Caught at residence after fleeing from crime scene in street vehicle
[Financial News] In Ansan Danwon-gu, a man in his 50s was caught by the police after committing an obscene act inside a vehicle and snatching the phone of a woman in her 20s who was filming the scene.
On the 16th, according to the police, the man was booked on charges of public obscenity and theft and is under investigation.
On the morning of the 12th, around 8:40 AM, the man parked his vehicle on the roadside in Danwon-gu and committed an obscene act visible from outside.
The woman who witnessed the scene filmed it with her phone, and the man immediately snatched the phone upon seeing this.
The police, upon receiving the report, secured nearby CCTV footage to track the suspect's movements and detained him at his residence for questioning.
The police are verifying the motive for the crime, the process of phone snatching, and any additional offenses.
