【Financial News Uijeongbu=Kim Kyung-soo Reporter】 Eulji University Hospital has prepared a venue for communication for patients with chronic myeloid leukemia and their families.
According to Eulji University Hospital on the 15th, the Hematology Cancer Center of Eulji University Hospital will hold the '14th Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Day' event on the 20th for patients with chronic myeloid leukemia, their families, and the general public.
It will be broadcast live on YouTube from the studio of the medical channel 'After the Rain' in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. The event will be hosted by Hong Hye-gul, a family medicine specialist and broadcaster.
Kim Dong-wook, a professor at the Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital Hematology Cancer Center, will lecture on the latest treatments and research status. There will also be a time for patients and families to communicate together through cases of overcoming the disease by patients in the Jeju area and a quiz event to help understand the disease.
Professor Kim said, “I prepared the lecture so that patients from all over the country can participate without distance restrictions through online live broadcasting,” and “I hope it will be an opportunity for patients to share their experiences, gain the latest treatment information, and foster hope for a cure.”
Meanwhile, Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Day, held every September, is a representative event where patients and medical staff share information and experiences to overcome the disease.
