[Financial News] Samsung Biologics announced on the 15th that it held the '2025 Employee Family Invitation Event' with employees and their families. The event is held in three parts, on the 13th and 14th, and will continue on the 20th in Songdo International City, Incheon.
The event has been a part of the organizational culture since 2015. This year, 6500 people are expected to participate, a 30% increase from last year's 5000.
On the 13th and 14th, Samsung Biologics conducted activities to help families understand the actual work performed at the company and the overall biopharmaceutical industry, including △ tours of the promotional hall to observe the process and facilities where actual pharmaceuticals are produced △ virtual reality (VR) experiences and gown-wearing experiences △ 'Catch the 7.84 Seconds' game inspired by the world's largest production capacity (784,000L).
Additionally, to strengthen communication among families, they organized generational empathy programs such as △ 'Family Message Wall' to share support messages △ 'Remembering Today Two Weeks Ago' where letters written on the event day are received two weeks later.
Choi Sung-sik (father of Choi Chorong, part leader), who participated in the first day's event, said, "I usually only hear about the company my daughter works at, but experiencing it firsthand helped me understand her work better," adding, "Seeing my daughter work hard to save patients' lives made me even prouder."
John Rim, CEO, said, "Our employees are fulfilling the mission of protecting human health and life based on the support and dedication of their families," and "We will continue to strive to become a leading global company with the strong support of families."
