7-Vehicle Collision Near Ttukseom Station... 6 People Injured Including Finger Amputation

[Financial News]  Near Ttukseom Station in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, a 7-vehicle collision occurred, injuring 6 people.
According to the police on the 15th, at around 6:56 PM the previous day, near the intersection heading towards Seongsu Station from Ttukseom Station, a Rexton car driven by a man in his 20s, Mr. A, hit a car waiting for a signal, causing a chain collision involving 5 cars including the Rexton and 2 motorcycles.
In this accident, a motorcycle driver suffered a serious injury with one finger amputated. Five other drivers, excluding Mr. A, were also transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
No signs of alcohol or drugs were found in Mr. A.
Based on testimonies, the police suspect that Mr. A caused the accident due to a gear manipulation mistake and have booked him on charges of causing injury under the Special Act on Traffic Accident Handling.
