"I will catch a person in Eunpyeong-gu" 30-year-old man arrested for posting knife photo

[Financial News] A man in his 30s who posted a notice online saying he would cause a knife disturbance in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, has been caught by the police.
Seoul Seongdong Police Station announced that they urgently arrested Mr. A on charges of public threat after he posted such a threatening message on the online community 'DC Inside' at around 12:20 PM on the 9th.
According to the police, Mr. A posted an article with a photo of a knife attached at around 5:20 AM that day. The post contained content to the effect of "I prepared a knife to catch one person in Eunpyeong-gu." The post has now been deleted.
The police received a report at around 7:20 AM and began tracking. At the time of arrest, Mr. A did not actually possess a weapon and stated that he used a photo obtained from the internet to write the post. The police plan to investigate the specific motive for the crime in the future.
