According to the South China Morning Post (SCMP) on the 9th, this service operated by accompanying customers to resolve conflicts such as noise between floors, infidelity issues, and workplace bullying. Customers left reviews saying, "I feel reassured having them by my side," and demand continued despite the fee of 20,000 yen (about 188,000 won) for 30 minutes.
Japanese online opinion was sharply divided. There were positive reactions saying, "A service that matches human nature, weak to the strong and strong to the weak," while concerns were also raised that "it ultimately commercializes threats." Although it was emphasized that it was unrelated to illegal or violent organizations, the company suddenly announced the termination of the service on the 31st of last month.
