[Financial News] Daekyo announced on the 8th that it held a lecture on the theme 'Thoughts Starting from the Tip of the Foot: Understanding Our Brain' by inviting Professor Jeong Sehee from Boramae Hospital's Department of Rehabilitation Medicine to its educational hub space 'Daekyo Spacewon' on the 6th.
This lecture was conducted for long-term member parents of Daekyo Spacewon. The lecture covered topics such as △the structure and function of the brain △brain development in infancy and childhood △the importance of play and physical activity △cardiorespiratory fitness and brain health throughout the life cycle.
Professor Jeong explained the close relationship between brain development in infancy and childhood and play and physical activity through scientific evidence and real-life examples. He emphasized that during infancy, the brain constantly changes depending on experience and environment, and that play and physical activity are key to determining brain development.
Through this lecture, parents were able to reaffirm that infancy is a critical period for brain development and reflect on the impact of lifestyle and play experiences on their child's holistic growth.
