[Financial News] Aju Industries announced on the 7th that it has designated September as the 'Month of Practicing Aju Safety Culture 2025' and held the 'Zero Ten Back Declaration and Safety Practice Pledge Ceremony' on the 5th.
The Zero Ten Back campaign is a safety campaign in which all members and partner companies participate together, aiming to achieve △zero serious accidents △compliance with 10 major work safety rules △100% improvement of harmful and risk factors. The declaration ceremony was attended by Moon Seung-man, CEO of Aju Industries, along with all leaders and worker representatives, who shared the intention to promote safety awareness for achieving zero accidents and creating a safe workplace.
In addition, various events such as 'Safety Practice Pledge and Comprehensive Safety Inspection by Management at All Business Sites' and 'Safety Practice Challenge with All Members and Partner Companies' will be conducted sequentially to mark the Month of Practicing Aju Safety Culture.
Various activities to strengthen on-site safety management are also being operated. At the ready-mixed concrete and pile business sites, AI (Artificial Intelligence) video recognition safety devices are applied to forklifts and wheel loaders to detect pedestrians and warn drivers and pedestrians of dangerous situations in real-time.
In addition, some business sites have introduced and are operating an AI-based safety management system that automatically detects whether workers are wearing safety equipment and controls work to be possible only when safety protocols are followed. The related system is planned to be expanded and introduced to all business sites in the future.
Furthermore, the 'Near Miss Accident Reporting and Safety Suggestion Reward System' is being strengthened to actively encourage the removal and improvement of harmful and risk factors within the workplace. On 'Aju Safety Inspection Day', conducted on the third week of each month, compliance with the prevention of 5 major serious accidents and 12 core safety rules is checked and improved, enhancing workers' safety awareness and building a safe workplace culture.
A representative of Aju Industries said, "This campaign will serve as an opportunity to raise awareness of safety and create a healthy and sustainable workplace culture through voluntary practice as all members participate together," and added, "As the importance of safety in industrial sites is emphasized more than ever, we will continue to contemplate and practice the establishment of a safety culture for all members."
