[Financial News] Heavy rain poured in the Jeonbuk area on the 7th, causing the complete suspension of train operations on the Jeolla Line between Iksan and Jeonju.
KORAIL announced via a safety guidance message at 6:25 a.m. that 'Train operations on the Jeolla Line (Iksan-Jeonju) are suspended due to track flooding. Please use alternative transportation.'
Currently, there are no issues with operations between Yongsan Station and Iksan Station, but it is reported that the tracks between Dongsan Station and Jeonju Station are flooded.
KORAIL is using pumps and other equipment to remove the water and expects to resume train operations by noon today.
A KORAIL representative stated, "We will do our best to resume train operations."
