KOSPI Closes Up at 3205.12 Due to Institutional Buying [fn Closing Market]

[Financial News] KOSPI maintained the 3200 line on the 5th thanks to institutional buying.
On this day, KOSPI closed at 3205.12, up 4.29p (0.13%) from the previous trading day. KOSPI started at 3209.44, up 8.61p (0.27%) from the previous trading day, but reduced its gains.
In the domestic stock market, individuals and foreigners sold 34.2 billion won and 151 billion won worth of stocks, respectively, while institutions bought 1061 billion won worth. Among the top 14 stocks by market capitalization, SK Hynix (3.01%), Samsung Biologics (1.28%), and Naver (0.88%) showed strength.
On the other hand, Hanwha Ocean (-5.38%), LG Energy Solution (-2.28%), and Doosan Enerbility (-1.59%) closed weak. By industry, transportation and warehousing (1.08%), construction (1.03%), textiles and clothing (0.94%), and insurance (0.91%) showed strength.
However, electricity and gas (-1.58%), transportation equipment (-0.83%), and machinery equipment (-0.45%) showed weakness. Samsung Electronics, which ranks first in KOSPI market capitalization, closed at 69,500 won, down 0.86% from the previous trading day.
The KOSDAQ index closed at 811.40, up 5.98p (0.74%) from the previous trading day. The index opened at 808.93, up 3.51p (0.44%).
