[Financial News] The KOSPI index is showing a slight rise on the 4th due to foreign buying.
This afternoon at 2 PM, the KOSPI index is trading at 3190.32, up 0.19% from the previous session. The KOSPI index, which recovered to the 3200 mark during the morning session, gave up its gains in the afternoon.
In the stock market, foreigners are defending the index by purchasing 48 billion won worth of shares. On the other hand, individuals and institutions are net selling 104 billion won and 32.3 billion won worth of shares, respectively.
Most of the top market cap stocks are declining. In particular, Samsung Electronics (-0.43%), Hanwha Aerospace (-0.74%), Hyundai Motor (-0.23%), and Kia (-0.65%) are weak. In contrast, SK Hynix (1.05%), LG Energy Solution (0.43%), and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (0.79%) are strong.
By sector, medical precision instruments (2.52%), non-metallic (1.39%), distribution (1.37%), and construction (1.22%) are rising. On the other hand, insurance (-0.58%), transportation and warehousing (-0.21%), and transportation equipment parts (-0.21%) are weak.
At this time, the KOSDAQ index is trading at 805.25, up 1.06% from the previous session.
In the KOSDAQ market, foreigners and institutions are net buying 81.4 billion won and 27.9 billion won worth of shares, respectively. On the other hand, individuals are net selling 92.4 billion won worth of shares.
