[Financial News] The police plan to secure the suspect's custody as soon as the franchise owner, who wielded a weapon and killed three people in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, is discharged.
The Gwanak Police Station in Seoul announced on the 4th that they would arrest the 40-year-old male suspect, Mr. A, on charges of murder as soon as he completes treatment for self-inflicted injuries and investigate the specific circumstances of the incident.
Mr. A is currently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit of a nearby hospital and is expected to take several days to be discharged.
The police are monitoring Mr. A to prevent any dangerous situations.
Due to the stabbing incident that occurred the previous day, a total of four people were injured and transported to the hospital. Two male executives from the headquarters and one female interior contractor were pronounced dead. Mr. A, who attempted to take his own life, was also seriously injured.
Mr. A admitted to the crime, stating that he had been in conflict with the victims over the store's interior issues and that he had argued for the same reason on that day.
