Woman in Her 50s Dies After Being Hit by Gyeongui-Jungang Line Train at Seobinggo Station

[Financial News] On the 4th at around 12:20 AM, a woman in her 50s was hit and killed by a Gyeongui-Jungang Line train near the tracks at Seobinggo Station, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
Korea Railroad Corporation (Korail) believes the woman crossed the protective fence and entered the tracks unauthorized, leading to the accident.
The train involved in the accident was the last train of the day with 35 passengers on board, but no passengers were injured. Korail assisted passengers in returning home by providing taxi fares immediately after the accident.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
