[Financial News] President Lee Jae-myung stated in his opening remarks at the Cabinet Meeting on the 2nd, "Workers exist because there are businesses, and businesses can enjoy a stable management environment only when worker cooperation is ensured."
On this day, President Lee said at the 40th Cabinet Meeting held at the Presidential Office in Yongsan, "A bird flies with two wings. Both business and labor are important," adding, "We cannot favor only one side. We must not make the mistake of killing the cow to straighten its horns," he said.
He added, "Everyone must have a sense of responsibility and work towards economic recovery and sustainable growth. I ask the relevant ministries to pay attention and ensure thorough follow-up measures."
President Lee also mentioned, "The regular National Assembly session began yesterday," stating, "The National Assembly and the government are two wheels driving the state and must jointly pioneer the country's future." He continued, "Currently, numerous national challenges are lurking. In promoting the people's economy and reform economy, bipartisan wisdom and cooperation between the National Assembly and the government are needed for responsible politics."
He further added, "I ask all Cabinet members to clearly explain government policies and seek cooperation from the National Assembly on the basis of respecting elected power."
