'Foreigners and Institutions Net Selling' KOSPI Weakens.. 3160 Line [fn Morning Market]

[Financial News] The KOSPI index is showing weakness in the early session on the 1st, pressured by net selling from foreign and institutional investors.
As of 11 a.m. today, the KOSPI is trading at 3169.44, down 16.57p (0.52%) from the previous session. The index started trading at 3164.58, down 0.67% from the previous trading day, and fell over 1% in the early session, dropping to 3152.37.
In the stock market, foreigners and institutions are net selling 52 billion won and 85 billion won, respectively, while individuals are showing a net buying advantage of around 100 billion won.
Among the top market cap stocks, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix are showing a clear decline. Samsung Electronics is trading down 1.79% at 68,450 won, while SK Hynix has plunged 3.81%, losing the 260,000 won level. By sector, electronics (-2.00%) and medical/precision instruments (-1.60%) are also weak.
At the same time, the KOSDAQ index is at 791.95, down 4.96p (0.62%) from the previous session. In the KOSDAQ market, individuals and institutions are net buying 27.3 billion won and 36.5 billion won, respectively, while foreigners are net selling 62.3 billion won. Among the top market cap stocks, Alteogen is showing a strong rise of 6%, and CJ ENM (4.34%), HLB (4.17%), and Hugel (4.12%) are also continuing their upward trend of over 4%
