[Financial News] Korean Air's in-flight duty-free shop Skyshop offers shocking benefits such as providing a voucher worth 100,000 won for a purchase of just 1 dollar. This is the first special promotion event in its 56-year history.
Skyshop operator Korean Air C&D Service (Korean Air C&D) announced on the 1st that it will conduct the 'Black Fly Day' promotion until the 31st of this month.
The core benefit of 'Black Fly Day' is the provision of a voucher worth 100,000 won. During the promotion period, all customers who purchase products at Skyshop will receive two vouchers worth 50,000 won each.
The voucher is provided together with the duty-free goods. If registered on the Skyshop online mall (including the mobile app), a discount benefit of 50,000 won can be received on the next shopping when purchasing over 200 dollars. The usable period is from November 1st this year to June 30th next year.
Furthermore, Korean Air mileage is also accumulated according to the purchase amount. For purchases under 399 dollars, 100 miles are accumulated, for purchases between 400 and 599 dollars, 1000 miles are accumulated, and for purchases over 600 dollars, 3000 miles are accumulated. The purchase amount is calculated by combining the online mall and offline in-flight order amounts. If the purchase receipt from the 15th to October 31st is registered on the online mall, participation in the event is possible. Korean Air mileage will be distributed collectively on November 27th.
A representative from Korean Air C&D said, "We have prepared this 'Black Fly Day' promotion to provide a more attractive shopping experience for customers," and added, "We will provide substantial benefits to customers based on the long tradition and trust in the service quality of Skyshop."
Skyshop is a dedicated in-flight duty-free service of Korean Air launched in 1970, offering carefully selected products such as liquor, cosmetics, and health functional foods at reasonable prices. You can reserve products to be received on your return flight from the departure flight cabin, or purchase desired products directly in the return flight cabin. The ordered duty-free goods are delivered directly by the flight attendants, so there is no need to visit the airport duty-free shop.
