LG Uplus announced on the 31st that it signed a 'Business Agreement for the Launch of AI Universe' at the Everyday Unusual Space, a complex cultural space located in Gangnam, Seoul, on the 29th. The ceremony was attended by LG Uplus and the Future AI Forum of the Science and Technology Society for the Realization of a Just Society (Kwasilyeon), a leading domestic AI organization, as well as representatives from 10 domestic and international AI partner companies participating in Unique Pick AI.
'AI Universe' is a collaborative body that promotes experience programs to allow people to easily experience AI. Institutions and companies participating in the AI Universe plan to jointly promote education and content production for AI literacy by utilizing each company's services and capabilities.
LG Uplus will support online and offline campaigns, content planning, and production based on its AI technology and services. In particular, it plans to enhance accessibility so that anyone can easily and conveniently experience AI services, focusing on 'Unique Pick AI', the nation's first subscription-based AI service launched last month. Unique Pick AI is a subscription product that allows customers to select only the AI services they want, receive discounts, and freely choose the AI services they need each month. Unique Pick AI has secured about 20,000 subscribers within a month of its launch, continuing its growth. The most selected AI services by customers were 'Liner', which provides highly accurate search results, and 'Canva', a graphic and content design support service. The Future AI Forum of Kwasilyeon will be responsible for experience-oriented programs such as talk concerts and lectures, while Unique Pick AI partners will each handle joint campaigns utilizing their AI services and technology infrastructure. Through this, AI Universe plans to introduce AI services that can be used in daily life to the public and increase familiarity and trust in AI. Jeong Hye-yun, Head of Marketing Group at LG Uplus, said, "In line with the growth of the domestic AI market, we have joined hands with various AI institutions and partners to make AI easy and accessible for everyone," adding, "LG Uplus will continue to collaborate with various AI operators to expand the AI Universe and spread AI services into people's daily lives."
