[Financial News] Ohaim & Company announced on the 27th that it has reorganized its existing furniture business into a division system. Lee Juyoung, who has held key positions at Hanssem and Dongwha Enterprise, has been appointed as the director of the Furniture Business Division.
The Furniture Business Division will integrate key functions such as sales operations, R&D, marketing, and SCM, covering the entire process from product planning and development to customer service.
In particular, by significantly strengthening design and development capabilities in the existing business sector, Ohaim & Company plans to lead product design and technology development that aligns with the identity of each furniture brand it owns. Through this, it aims to establish differentiated strategies for each brand and simultaneously enhance consumer experience and market competitiveness.
Director Lee began his career as a product planning MD in the development department at Hanssem in 1999, and has honed his expertise in product design and planning while serving as the head of the design center at Dongwha Enterprise. He has since expanded his commercialization capabilities and market understanding by overseeing OEM and ODM development in the mattress and sleep product sectors.
Director Lee's career and expertise are expected to be the core driving force in realizing Ohaim & Company's vision of a 'complete business structure from product planning to customer experience.' In particular, it plans to accelerate B2C product development based on major brand assets such as Joyworks and Lady Furniture, and simultaneously launch new brands and expand the market. It will target a diverse consumer base across the furniture, lifestyle, and sleep portfolio, and connect this to sales performance.
Ohaim & Company has secured a site near Suwon Station as its first investment since acquisition. The company plans to operate this location as a base equipped with furniture showrooms and small logistics center functions. This space will serve as a collaborative venue where major brands of Joyworks and Ohaim & Company come together, playing a complex role in exhibition, sales, and logistics. Through this, it plans to expand its contact points with consumers and enhance competitiveness in the furniture business by developing new products and increasing sales based on brand synergy.
An official from Ohaim & Company said, "The newly formed Furniture Business Division, centered around Director Lee Juyoung, will enhance the competitiveness of each brand and simultaneously lead product innovation and market expansion," adding, "By consolidating the organization's capabilities, it will become a key pillar leading Ohaim & Company's new leap forward."
