60bar High-Pressure System Based on FK-5-1-12
Suitable for Precision Equipment Facilities like Data Centers
K-5-1-12 Fire Suppressant. Provided by Estech System

[Financial News] Estech System, a comprehensive safety solution company, announced on the 27th that it has obtained performance certification from the Korea Fire Institute (KFI) for its high-performance gas-based fire suppression equipment that applies eco-friendly fire suppressants.
The certified product is a 60bar high-pressure system that applies the FK-5-1-12 fire suppressant, verified for human safety and environmental friendliness. It provides stable performance even in complex structures or long piping environments and meets the design concentrations for △Class A fires (4.5%) △Class B fires (5.9%) △Class C fires (5.1%). It can respond to various sites with two types of containers: 82.5L and 140L.
Additionally, by optimizing the amount of suppressant with a variable charging method, it enhanced installation efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and applied the Grooved Joint method for pipe connections to strengthen the convenience of construction and maintenance.
FK-5-1-12 is suitable for precision equipment protection facilities such as data centers, computer rooms, communication rooms, and archives due to its low Global Warming Potential (GWP) and non-electrical conductivity. Amidst the possibility of long-term use restrictions on existing fire suppressants with high GWP (HFC-23, HFC-125, HFC-227ea, etc.), it is gaining attention as a sustainable alternative.
Estech System plans to expand its lineup based on FK-5-1-12 with this certification and accelerate the development of various alternative system technologies, including inert gas systems (IG-100).
An Estech System representative said, “This performance certification is the result of our efforts to respond to technological capabilities and market changes,” adding, “We will continue to develop sustainable fire systems as a comprehensive safety solution company that protects customers' lives and assets.”
