[Financial News] LG Electronics will showcase AI-based high-efficiency heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions at the '2025 Climate Industry International Expo' held at BEXCO in Busan from the 27th to the 29th.
LG Electronics has set up a space to experience customized HVAC solutions for residential, public, and commercial facilities in a booth of about 270㎡. At the entrance of the booth, the system air conditioners 'Multi V i' and 'Multi V S' with 'AI Engine' are placed. The AI Engine detects changes in indoor and outdoor temperatures to automatically adjust cooling intensity and switches to power-saving mode when the indoor environment becomes comfortable, enhancing energy efficiency. In particular, the Multi V i achieves up to 7.2% higher efficiency compared to the existing 'Multi V Super5', proving its carbon emission reduction effect.
For residential use, the 'Whisen AI System Air Conditioner' is introduced. It is an air conditioner that automatically controls by learning the user's preferred temperature. When 'soft wind' is applied, power consumption can be reduced by up to 76% compared to regular strong wind.
For public solutions, the '4-way System Air Conditioner' with reduced plastic use is exhibited. It is a product verified for carbon dioxide reduction by the global certification body 'TUV Rheinland'.
For commercial solutions, the 'Commercial Stand Air Conditioner', the only product among domestic 40-pyeong models to achieve the highest energy efficiency grade 1, is exhibited. This product has improved cooling efficiency by 23% and heating efficiency by 37% compared to the existing 14.5㎾ grade 4 model and won the 'Energy Saving Award' at the '28th Energy Winner of the Year'.
Jae-sung Lee, Vice President of LG Electronics ES Division, said, "We will continue to expand high-efficiency HVAC solutions based on LG Electronics' AI technology and core tech to contribute to achieving global carbon neutrality."
Meanwhile, the Climate Industry International Expo is a global event jointly organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the International Energy Agency (IEA), and the World Bank (WB), discussing advanced technologies and policy solutions for responding to the climate crisis and achieving carbon neutrality.
