Achieved Highest Score of 97.26 in Breast Cancer Adequacy Assessment
[Financial News] Chung-Ang University Hospital announced on the 27th that it achieved the highest score in the '2nd Cycle 1st Liver Cancer and Breast Cancer Adequacy Assessment' released by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service.
In the first-ever adequacy assessment in the field of liver cancer, Chung-Ang University Hospital demonstrated excellence in liver cancer treatment by achieving the highest scores in all major categories, including the composition of professional staff, the rate of surgery within 30 days after cancer diagnosis, the rate of patient education and counseling, and the rate of tumor follow-up examinations after treatment.
In the breast cancer adequacy assessment, it also achieved the highest scores in key indicators such as the composition of professional staff, the rate of surgery within 30 days after cancer diagnosis, the rate of multidisciplinary treatment, the rate of patient education and counseling, and the completeness of pathology reports.
The overall score of Chung-Ang University Hospital was 97.26 points, significantly surpassing the overall average (88.13 points) and the average of advanced general hospitals (93.75 points).
Previously, Chung-Ang University Hospital received the highest grade in the 'Colon Cancer, Stomach Cancer, and Lung Cancer Adequacy Assessment' announced in the first half of the year, proving its excellent treatment capabilities in all areas of the five major cancers (colon cancer, stomach cancer, lung cancer, liver cancer, breast cancer).
