Leader Jang said at the Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly that day, "Through the party convention process, we heard the party's and the people's minds. It's time to shed the appearance of the past and move towards the future," he said. The Supreme Council meeting held that day was the first since the collapse of Han Dong-hoon's system last December.
Leader Jang promised, "The public sentiment sent by party members and the people during the party convention process is to check the huge ruling party like an opposition party and show a competent appearance while checking the Lee Jae-myung regime," and "Now I will show the changed and united People Power Party to the people."
