[Financial News] Global household goods company Lock&Lock's subsidiary Jennifer Room announced on the 27th that its new fully automatic coffee machine ‘Barista Arte’ was selected for the ‘2025 Good Design (GD) Award’ for excellent design.
The Good Design Award is a representative domestic design award hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP). It comprehensively evaluates functionality, appearance, and economy, and awards the government certification mark ‘GD’ to excellent products.
The Barista Arte is characterized by enhancing the strengths of the existing Jennifer Room coffee machine and upgrading its functionality and convenience. It newly features the ‘Bypass Function’ that adds water to the extracted coffee to enhance flavor, and the ‘My Recipe Function’ that allows you to store recipes and recall them with one touch. The menu has been expanded to include espresso, lungo, and americano, and with dual nozzles, two cups can be extracted at once. The water tank capacity has also been expanded from 1.2L to 1.4L.
In addition, it applies a 19-bar high-pressure pump, pre-infusion system, and conical burr grinder to achieve uniform coffee taste. The patented brewing unit can be disassembled for cleaning, enhancing hygiene, and the intuitive one-touch LED display and minimal design with a width of 18cm enhance space utilization.
A Jennifer Room representative said, “Winning the Good Design Award is a meaningful achievement that simultaneously recognizes performance and design competitiveness,” adding, “The new product Barista Arte is scheduled to be released in September.”
