[Financial News] The Korea Economic Association announced on the 26th that it plans to recruit applicants for foreign businesspeople who wish to use the exclusive immigration inspection lane (Fast Track) for foreign nationals, which will be implemented by the government from August 31.
This project is being promoted to improve the convenience of foreign businesspeople entering Korea. Six economic organizations, including the Hankyung Association, will recommend major foreign businesspeople expected to contribute to the domestic economy to the government, and they will go through a selection process. A representative from the Hankyung Association said, "The operation of the exclusive inspection lane is expected to alleviate inconveniences for foreign businesspeople entering Korea, thereby facilitating exchanges between domestic and foreign companies and helping to attract foreign investment," adding, "We plan to actively promote this project to domestic and international member companies, and recommend suitable foreign businesspeople by receiving applications from them."
The Fast Track for foreign businesspeople will be piloted at Incheon International Airport for about four months from the end of August to the end of December. The Hankyung Association will continuously recommend foreign businesspeople during the pilot period to ensure they receive services in a timely manner.
