[Financial News] Sampyo Group is sponsoring the video culture festival 'Seoul International Children's Film Festival' that nurtures children's dreams and imagination.
Sampyo Group announced on the 26th that it donated 15 million won to support the 13th Seoul International Children's Film Festival (SICFF) held at Eunpyeong District Office on the 21st. This is the second sponsorship following last year, providing tailored film screenings and support for children's film production to children and guardians in the Eunpyeong District.
The Seoul International Children's Film Festival screens children's films from around the world and is held annually with the goal of discovering future film talents. It has established itself as a complex video culture festival that all generations can enjoy together, and this year, a record 3,576 films from 123 countries were submitted. Among them, 127 films from 35 countries were selected as the final screenings. The festival will be held from September 10 to 17 at Lotte Cinema Eunpyeong and Eunpyeong Cultural Arts Center.
Yoo Yong-jae, Executive Director of Sampyo Group's Social Contribution Team, said, "We decided to continue our sponsorship this year to contribute to the successful hosting of the Seoul International Children's Film Festival," and "We hope this festival will be an opportunity for children to freely express their dreams and imagination."
