'Heatwave and Heavy Rain...' Landslide Warning in Yeoncheon, Advisory in Pocheon

[Financial News] On the morning of the 26th at 7:00 AM, a landslide warning was issued for the Yeoncheon-eup and Cheongsan-myeon areas in Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi. At 7:10 AM, an advisory was issued for the Changsu-myeon and Yeongjung-myeon, Idong-myeon, Yeongbuk-myeon, and Gwanin-myeon areas in Pocheon-si.
Accordingly, residents in these areas are advised to refrain from outdoor activities, and those living near forests should evacuate to shelters if there are any abnormal signs.
Local governments sent disaster text messages stating, 'Due to heavy rain, landslides are a concern. Please refrain from outdoor activities near forests and evacuate if you are in the mountains.'
Currently, a heavy rain advisory is in effect for these areas.
The accumulated rainfall in the Cheongsan-myeon area from the 25th to the 26th is recorded at 95.5mm, and heavy rain of 47.5mm per hour occurred around 4:30 AM on this day.
