Jeonbuk-do Supports Youth Smart Farm Startups '400 Million Won per Place'

【Financial News Jeonju=Kang In Reporter】 Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province announced on the 25th that it will accept applications for the '2026 Youth Startup Smart Farm Package Support Project', which supports 70% of the smart farm establishment costs for young startup farmers.

This is to help young farmers manage their businesses and encourage family unit settlement.

The support targets are graduates (or expected graduates) of the Jeonbuk Youth Startup Incubation Center and outstanding young farmers in cities and counties.

Applicants must submit the application form and other required documents to the relevant city or county. The final selection will be made in November after document and face-to-face evaluations.

If selected, 400 million won will be given to one smart farm, and 23 places are eligible for support. Before establishing a smart farm, they will receive expert consulting to learn facility operation know-how, crop selection, and distribution strategies. They must also complete leadership and conflict management education for community adaptation.

A Jeonbuk-do official said, "We will create a rural area where young people settle and return through various smart farm policies."
