This is interpreted as being influenced by the personnel appointments of high-ranking prosecutors (deputy chief and chief prosecutors) conducted by the Ministry of Justice on the 21st.
Deputy Chief Lee led the investigation team dedicated to the allegations against Myung Tae-kyun at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, and Chief Kim was the prosecutor who decided not to prosecute in the luxury handbag case involving Mrs. Kim Geon-hee. In the personnel appointments on the 21st, Deputy Chief Lee was transferred to the Daejeon High Prosecutors' Office, and Chief Kim was transferred to the Busan High Prosecutors' Office.
