The signing ceremony was held on the 22nd at the Travel Wallet headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Key officials from both companies attended, including Kim Hyung-woo, CEO of Travel Wallet, Lee Jae-won, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), Lee Kyu-seo, Chief Business Officer (CBO), Donald Morris, Cathay Korea Branch Manager, Jamie Pepper, Head of Financial and Payment Partnerships, and Erin Chen, Head of Lifestyle for Northeast Asia.
Through this business agreement, the two companies will introduce a system for converting Travel Wallet points to Cathay Asia Miles, jointly promote airline tickets and travel packages, provide bonus mileage and special events, and pursue various cooperation measures such as entering the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival.
Starting from September 1, for the first time in Korea, points can be converted to Cathay mileage, Asia Miles, through the Travel Wallet app, and the converted mileage can be used for purchasing airline tickets and travel-related benefits.
Meanwhile, Travel Wallet has previously expanded domestic reward usage by partnering with CJ ONE, Lotte, and others.
