[Financial News] The police conducted a campaign to promote voice phishing prevention and compliance with basic order at the transfer station of Line 9.
Seoul Dongjak Police Station announced on the 25th that it conducted a voice phishing prevention and basic order campaign targeting citizens at Noryangjin and Dongjak Stations.
This campaign focused on spreading safe habits in citizens' daily lives. It was conducted in collaboration with the Crime Prevention Response Division and the Traffic Division of Dongjak Police Station, and in cooperation with the guidance-type advertising robot company 'VD Robotics'.
At the campaign site, △ compliance with basic order in daily life such as littering, unauthorized posting of advertisements, and noise disturbances △ five major traffic violations such as illegal U-turns and tailgating △ prohibition of jaywalking and other traffic rules were emphasized. Additionally, messages for preventing the increasing crimes of voice phishing and smishing were also delivered.
Seokhwa Jeong, Chief of Dongjak Police Station, stated, "We will actively promote safety campaigns that citizens can feel in the future."
